Essential oils are natural aromatic compounds located in the seeds, bark, stems, roots, and flowers of plants. They can be both beautifully and powerfully fragrant, eliciting profound emotional responses. Yet the utilization of essential oils goes well beyond their fragrant appeal. Used throughout history because of their medicinal and therapeutic benefits, essential oils works extremely well as natural alternatives in holistic self-care practices. Their unique chemistry enables them to be used aromatically and applied topically on the skin, while other essential oils works extremely well as dietary aids to market vitality and well-being.

The Power Of The Senses & Aromatherapy

Have you ever thought of a favorite food, heard an old song or visited a familiar place and been instantly transported to a moment in time or a particular memory? The human affect thought, mood and many other brain functions.

The senses work together to help support our perception of our surroundings. Undoubtedly one of the most powerful senses is the sense of smell. The brain’s olfactory receptors, cells located in the back of the nasal cavity, are linked directly to the limbic system in the brain, which supports emotion and memory.

It’s no surprise given the power of our senses, that the benefits of aromatherapy are widely celebrated.

Essential oils and aromatherapy haven been utilized by many ancient cultures and were described in writing as early as the 1st century as a way to help people look and feel better. Each essential oil note offers different benefits depending on how the sense of smell and brain work together. Essential oil notes are often combined to create synergistic blends for maximum benefits.

Why Forever Pure Essential Oils?

Pure – Natural – Certified
We go through selection, sourcing and certification.

Nature’s Purest Ingredients

Forever™ Essential Oils are selected, Harvested and produced with the highest quality in mind. Mineral content of soil, climate, location and sustainability are all considered with choosing a location to source the botanicals, fruits, herbs and plants that become Forever™ Essential Oils.

After harvesting, essential oils are extracted from these carefully selected crops primarily using steam distillation and cold pressing. Each essential oil is extracted from a specific part of the plant including blossoms, fruits, seeds, leaves and even bark and roots.
The plant part used and extraction techniques are distinct each type of oil. The end result is nature’s purest botanical essence, harvested especially for you.

The Cool Steam Distillation Process

When raw ingredients are steam distilled, the essential oils are separated from other raw materials and carried by steam to a condenser. As the steam becomes a liquid, the essential oil floats to the top and is separated and bottled.

The Cold Pressing Process

When raw ingredients are cold pressed, essential oils held within the fruit or plant skin are released and carefully scraped off. The scrapings are put into a centrifuge to separate solid ingredients from the oil, which is then removed and bottled.

Quality Control

To Ensure the quality of each product, every batch of essential oil undergoes a thorough evaluation. Carefully selected teams with years experience growing, cultivating and producing essential oils evaluate each oil using organoleptic verification and other physical characteristic tests. A GC-MS lab analysis is also performed to evaluate the major chemical makeup of each oil. These defined processes help ensure that each batch of essential oils meets the quality and potency required by Forever
